In the spirit of connecting better with you guys, I wanted to share a recent project we are finishing up! So, some of you may already know that Jim and I have a love for all things remodeling. Our house is our ultimate labor of love, and things here are constantly changing (much to Jim’s dismay, sometimes!) and evolving. One project that has always taken a back seat for us has been our guest room… because we don’t have guests very often! Well, I’ve since decided that maybe we don’t have guests because our room isn’t finished, so let’s finish it! (Okay, total lie, but I really wanted an excuse to have things come together in that room, I’m sick of it being a constant work in progress!)
So, today I present you with a key piece in the room, a dresser that we’ve refinished. I was trying to hunt down a secondhand dresser for some time because I knew I wanted to paint it, and then a good friend of mine was getting rid of hers and I figure why not keep it “in the family” and send it to our place? Perfect.
What are you guys into? Is anyone else a wannabe interior designer? I cannot wait to get this baby in the perfect place now that the walls of the room are painted! I’m not a huge color person, so this dresser update was pretty big for me but I can’t wait to have a cool focal piece for the room! (: I cannot wait for this room to be 100% finished!
